Tin Tea is a AAPI and woman-owned business that celebrates cultural heritage and community connection. Our founder, Chau Truong, opened Tin Tea when she was a Sophomore at St. Olaf College in 2021.

Deeply rooted in her family's approach to love and care, Chau was raised with an understanding that food is a language of connection. Her parents instilled in her the belief that nourishing others is a way of expressing love, compassion, and cultural pride. Inspired by these values, she opened Tin Tea – a bubble tea and Vietnamese cuisine shop.

The heart of Tin Tea beats not just through Chau's vision, but through the unwavering support of her family. Her parents, Tung and Liem, her brothers Dat and Tin, and her loving partner Thor have been integral to every step of this remarkable journey. Their collective support, encouragement, and hands-on help have transformed Chau's dream into a thriving reality, embodying the true spirit of family and shared entrepreneurial passion.
